We use the knowledge and experience gained through our work to inform campaigns that seek to tackle some of the root causes of the problems facing the people we work with.

Free school meals campaign
We support North East London Migrant Action’s (NELMA) demand for free school meals for all who need them, regardless of immigration status, and for schools to be adequately funded so that they can provide this. Our advocacy work helps families access free school meals and provides evidence of the destitution that the no recourse to public funds (NRPF) restriction can lead to.
Campaign against healthcare charging
Many of our visitors face crippling debts after accessing essential hospital care, including maternity care. We are working with other organisations including MedAct, Docs Not Cops, Maternity Action and Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants on their wider campaigns around access to healthcare and healthcare justice.
